Amy, who was previously the deputy PPM service delivery manager, was promoted into the position PPM service delivery manager in September 2017. When she took over the position, the department had service delivery challenges, which required addressing with immediacy. Amy worked closely with her team, colleagues around the business and clients, to understand the root causes of these challenges, and implemented service changes to ‘right the ship’. The resulting transition was undertaken in a professional, informed and controlled manner, allowing the department to gradually improve from a group wide overall statutory compliance percentage of 80% to a current score of 92%. The approach Amy takes towards communication and issue resolution is appreciated by clients and colleagues alike, and she sets an excellent example of team working we could all learn from.
